Anita and Pete came by my place last December and we just had a great connection. My husband made them espresso’s from his new Nespresso machine and we just gabbed and gabbed and gabbed. They didn’t book right away and I remember being really bummed. When Anita contacted me several months later, I remember saying…”I am dying to photograph your wedding, what can I do to make this happen?”. I could not be more thrilled that they hired me. I had a wonderful time with them in NYC for their engagement shoot, and their wedding day was one of the most fun I’ve had in a long time. Anita is a VERY fun person, and Pete is kind of her cool straight man character. Their dynamic is really hilarious and their friends and family were the same. I loved hearing their story during the ceremony and toasts and their vows made me cry. I totally dug Anita’s sister (MOH) who helped put a lot of laughs into the evening. Oh, and could Anita’s dress be cooler? Vera Wang sample sale, I think!
This wedding took place at the Smog Shoppe, an amazing venue that has a million wonderful photo ops. I could go on and on…. And a big thank you to their wonderful coordinator Alison Ohanian and Anoush Catering. Ugh, did I pig out. Delicious!
And….we did a photobooth at this wedding! Very fun. Here are a few of my favorites.
