Parker Palm Springs Wedding Photos, Palm Springs Wedding Photographer

Sorry, I have not posted in so long….major server issues with the blog….blah, blah, blah….I am back on track but I am also working on a new and improved website/blog…which will be ready to launh in June.  SOOOOO excited!  It’s amazing how quickly stuff goes out of date but my new digs will be FABULOUS!

Back to my post:  This couple is very shy about being posted so I’ll make this post short and brief.  I really LOVED driving down to Palm Springs and  shooting at the Parker so I couldn’t deny myself a blog post.  Also, the AMAZING Stephanie Grace was the  coordinator and florist on this wedding.  She and her team, Lisa and Parnell are just so much fun to work with.   They did a beautiful job.

Most of my clients are VERY into their wedding photographs and give me a lot of  time and energy for their portraits.  Andi and Ben had a  bit of a different vision of their wedding photography…they didn’t want to spend very much time on romantics and portraits and wanted more candids and friends at the reception.  For some reason, I have alot of clients exactly like this this year.  Obviously, I am always looking for AWARD winning images and poses and like to spend whatever time I have really creating images that are unique.  With this type of couple, I need to work quickly to get them through the posed stuff as quickly as possible.  This was a very good lesson for me in not OVER shooting….and realizing that I really can create great images rather quickly, without laboring over it.  On the other side, I do warn people who don’t like to be photographed, that unless you are SUPER photogenic…you could possibly regret rushing your photographer through the shots.   It’s always the most beautiful people who are the most critical of how they look!  Hey, the reason I love this job is working with different kinds of people, with different types of personalities….and I can adapt!
