Baby Asher is the baby of one of my favorite wedding clients ever. Missy and Darren got married in 2006 and since then I have photographed many of their friends and family’s weddings…and it’s been great to see them over the years. I just saw them and Kim and Merrill’s wedding in April and was so thrilled when I heard they were having a baby! Asher is SUPER cute and just turned 13 months when I met him for the first time. Over the years, I had heard A LOT about Missy and Darren’s new digs….and I was so curious, I really manipulated them into doing the shoot at their house (and yes, they were featured on some house makeover show). Good call on my part – as far as I am concerned, no family shoot looks hipper than in a post modern setting. It was a little harrowing having him crawl on the table, but what a shot…and he knows “safe way down”! Just heard on Facebook that he started walking. Yay Asher!
