I might have mentioned this one my post at their engagement shoot, but Cristy is a girl who knows what she wants! She called me one afternoon when I was in the middle of a shoot, and when I didn’t get back within a few hours, she called again! She came right over and booked….and when I asked her how she and Eli met, she told me a wonderful story of how she had had a crush on him for years and made up her mind that this was the guy for her. I love it!
Cristy’s theme was “Mexican Elegance”, and cannot tell you how impressed I was at how amazingly she executed this. Of course, I have done many Mexican weddings, but I don’t think I’ve done one that had so much attention to these cultural details. I literally felt like I was in Mexico!
Unfortunately, it was a VERY hot day -probably one of the hottest of the summer and though I know it was tough for Cristy, she and Eli are just so gorgeous and cute together, I really didn’t have to spend much time on the Romantics. Though I would never drink on the job, I will admit that those Margarita’s looked AMAZING and Cristy’s dad kept offering us some. I did take one sip at the end of the night before we left. Yum!
