Songa and Jeff were referred to me by my beloved wedding client Marisa. From the moment we first met, I just loved them and was dying to photograph their wedding. Jeff had to squeeze in the meeting before he had to leave for the democratic convention to play with James Taylor. Tough life! (Ha, ha!). Jeff and Songa have a 6 month old boy, so they obviously had a lot more on their minds than the wedding. Nonetheless, they had pretty much the coolest wedding ever. Both very successful musicians (Songa – violin, Jeff – Keyboard), their guests were a mix of recording artists, studio musicians, a few celebrities and close family and friends. One highlight of the night was a performance by my favorite Martin Short, who Jeff accompanies on the road. It was fun to see Jeff be such a part of the act – Martin slows down speeds of songs and stops to give him direction. Very funny! Awesome to work with the gals at Pink Cloud Coordinators (thanks Sarah) and all the other vendors listed below.
