Rana is the cousin of Cami, of Cami and Josh…one of my favorite clients and their family is like my personal PR team. Needless to say, I love them….but not only because they refer me so much work, but because they are simply great people. Rana and her family are the same. I met with Rana originally and I hadn’t met John, but it was really fun to organize the shoot with him and see the two of them together. They make such an amazing couple As they plan for the wedding, save for a house, etc….they are living with Rana’s folks – a testament to how cool Rana’s family is (which also includes 6 dogs and 6 cats!). Rana is in the restaurant business and is a fabulous cook, so she thought it would be a fun idea to do some baking shots in the kitchen. For the record, I LOVE shooting this kind of “day in the life” scene for engagement shoots. I actually wish more clients would go for it. When couples ask about locations for engagement shoots, I always try to begin with “What kinds of things do you do together?”. I just think the photos look super cute. Then we went out to Melrose to get some funky gritty stuff. Can’t wait for their wedding at the Luxe Hotel in March!
