Emily and Matt were one of a select few of my clients this year who actually found me on on the web. It’s funny after doing this for so long, then when I’m not referred by previous clients or wedding planners, there is always that bit of nervousness about how my performance is going to end up for the couple. I’m totally cool with that, I get it. Emily, who is in the fashion business and as you can see by this blog post has amazing fashion sense….was very good about giving me artistic direction. Their engagement shoot is probably one of my fav’s and I don’t mean to brag, but I’m incredibly happy with these wedding photos, might even be one of my favorites of the year. Saddlerock is always an amazing venue….I hadn’t actually done the Chateau location, but I really, really loved shooting….really just as much if not more than the other locations on the property. In addition, Emily and Matt had everything going for them in terms of getting great photos….they are super photogenic, they had amazing lighting all day long and most importantly, they were super chill and enthusiastic about doing photos and the property! My mouth hung open when they grabbed a plastic bag full of carrots to feed the zebras! Now that is planning! (Note to self….bring food if you want the animals to come close to you!)
