So honored to photograph Alison of the wedding website The Wedding Yentas and her beautiful family. Madaline, 18 months is just too adorable! And it was so wonderful to hang out with Alison. We have know each other for years but have only met in person once. I hope we can hang out again soon…if not for another family shoot, maybe for drinks. She is a super cool chick. She also wrote me the nicest funniest message ever. Now you know why I love my job!

I always look like I’m constipated when I take photos with Madelyn because I am a neurotic and overbearing Jewish mother. But I actually LIKE myself. And my kid is gorgeous! I mean, I thought she was pretty cute before, but she’s just drop dead gorgeous! And my dog — that face. I love him so much. My husband’s cute, too, but he’s old news. OH MY GOSSSHH i am plotzing.
